Setting a Smartphone Camera Lens for Use With the Celestron Smartphone Adapters
May 30, 2023| Posted in Celestron - Tools for beginners| Admin| 353
When smartphone digiscoping was first invented, mobile phones had only one forward-facing camera lens. Even when the first smartphones were launched, these too only had a single forward-facing lens that was used for all the features of the smartphone’s camera. Today’s smartphones, with their very sophisticated cameras, now have as many as four, each with its own unique function and each usually controlled by the sensor that guides the camera to an optimal image when in use. This is a superb feature for ordinary smartphone camera usage as it produces excellent photos with minimal effort.
